Dowsing is the art of asking closed questions and reading the answers from the movements of a dowsing rod or a pendulum.
It is a gateway between the mind and the spirit. People with a strongly developed intuition should have no great difficulty with a pendulum.
When dowsing, you should ask clear questions to which the pendulum or rod can answer yes, no or don’t know.
Open your mind and wait for the answer. There are many situations in which dowsing can be used. If you want to use a pendulum to ask about another person, you should have their permission and keep one of their belongings or a photograph of them with you.
Etheric energy flows through every energy system, including that of the Earth. Dowsing rods are able to detect water hidden deep underground, and dowsing is still used to find underground watercourses.
When you begin working with dowsing rods, they should point forwards, parallel to each other. This is the neutral, or searching, position.
In traditional Chinese thought, the energy pathways of chi running through the Earth’s subtle body are called dragons. They constantly twist and turn, and their energies flow and change every second. Traumatic changes on the Earth’s surface, such as opencast mines, quarries or new buildings, can disrupt a healthy energy field. If this chi has been disturbed, it means that one or more energy pathways have been blocked; a dowsing rod can be used to unblock them and set the energy free.
