If you want to find out what lies ahead, brew loose-leaf tea in cups. Cups with a wide, white bottom are best. Pour boiling water over a teaspoon of tea. Once you have drunk the tea down to the last drop, you can begin the reading.
Turn the cup upside down on its saucer, take hold of it with your left hand and rotate it three times clockwise, then set it down. The tea leaves will form some kind of shape at the bottom.
If you want to know when the prediction will come true, treat the inner rim of the cup as the months, like a clock face. The point level with the handle is December, and the following imaginary hours are January, February and so on.
If, after the cup has been turned three times, the leaves are scattered all over it, this foretells variety in your life.
If most of the leaves have gathered level with the handle, the reading concerns matters of the heart.
If, however, the leaves lie closer to the bottom of the cup, the prediction will come true very soon.
