At some point, surely every one of us has wondered why readings fail to come true for some people.
There are several explanations. First, some people are not meant to know what might happen, because they must go through life without a signpost. Some are so blocked that the cards simply cannot reach their future.
Free will and choosing your path
Another explanation is that we choose our own path in life. The cards always point to possible roads to choose from. First they show the most likely future, then other variants. When answering a question such as “Will we be together?”, they point to paths and possibilities, emotions and feelings, and advice on what to do so that the relationship survives. If the person asking does not follow this guidance, the relationship may fall apart. A reading tries to reach a person’s mind to help them understand the problems they have now and those that may arise in future. It warns and tries to steer them onto the right path. We may, however, unconsciously abandon it and take another road. That changes the future – which is why some readings about the more distant future do not come true.
The character of the person asking
A further explanation is that resourceful, enterprising, spontaneous people who are unafraid of life often change the paths of their destiny. As a result, the reading shifts in time and the paths of fate change.
For calm people who lead orderly lives, on the other hand, and for those who find decisions difficult, readings tend to come true with astonishing accuracy.
The timing of readings
Besides, the moment when a reading will be fulfilled is very hard to predict. Sometimes, when you ask about the future, the cards show only the past and refuse to lift the veil. This happens when the questioner has unfinished business from the past, or when the past is affecting their present situation. Such a reading can still be valuable, though, because the person suddenly realises many things and tries to put the present right.
There are no infallible readers
You also need to understand that there is no such thing as an infallible fortune-teller. It is said that even among the best readers – and there are few of them – accuracy reaches around 80 per cent.
Whether readings come true depends not only on who reads for you but also on what kind of person you are. For some people the cards simply “don’t want” to say anything. That does not mean something bad will happen – it simply means you are not inwardly open enough for the cards to lift the veil for you.
