How we calculate
Astronomy Premium Engine calculates celestial positions for the birth moment provided. Astronomical calculations and astrological interpretation are separate steps.
Astronomical calculation
Positions of the Sun, Moon and planets are calculated live for the given moment and place, not taken from ready-made tables.
The engine calculates geocentric tropical ecliptic longitudes for the Sun, Moon and planets from the birth date, time and time zone of the birthplace. The underlying library has been tested by comparing planetary positions with JPL Horizons references; the site does not fetch live data from NASA/JPL.
Agreement with JPL Horizons (NASA) ephemerides is checked by tests: planets within 1′ of arc, the Moon within 0.1′.
When data are missing
Chart angles and houses need a reliable birth time and location. When details are unknown or uncertain, the report states the limitation instead of implying false precision.
Interpretation
Altitude and azimuth are topocentric for the chosen location. Interpretation is a separate step, with no templates and no random draws.
For us, astrology is a language of symbols and a tool for reflection. Our content is for information and entertainment. It does not replace advice from a doctor, psychologist, lawyer or financial adviser.
Who writes the texts
Magazine articles are written by astrologers and esoteric practitioners with more than 20 years of experience. They publish under pen names. Texts from the archive of our earlier sites were edited, updated and translated by our editorial team.
